has a watermarked handmade paper shade and a subtle lavender background color that shifts into a soft, warm gray when illuminated. Inspiration came from walking a dry stream bed at sunset in the Napa Valley and witnessing the beauty of hardened clay, cracked into shards of intriguing shape and their interesting relationships. One can sense the dimensionality of the watermark shards as the darker surrounding background subtly recedes.
