Lighting and Power
To provide even, 360 degree illumination throughout the shade, each luminaire houses a custom fabricated LED Light Engine. Hundreds of LEDs are employed in a typical design with a environmentally friendly low power consumption of 15 watt to 45 watts depending on the model.
Consulting with Griplock®Systems a leading manufacturer of theatrical and lighting suspension systems, a lockable and adjustable hanging system is incorporated for the Pendants that eliminates the ungainly power cord and elegantly utilizes the hanging cables as the power feed to the pendant.
The pendants feature ApplePly®. top and bottom structural plates. Well regarded by architects and designers for its attractive edge appearance of thin, uniform interplies and quality wood veneer surfaces, it compliments the paper in an understated manner while uniflying the whole.
Frosted Acrylic Top Plate
A 3/8" thick frosted acrylic top plate hightlights the color changing light engine option. It features an architectural cove detail around the perimeter and a lasar cut logo ventillation hole.
